Lizpiha.art is a mother/daughter venture that has grown from Elizabeth’s love of and need to create art. What began has homemade gifts for family, teachers and friends has grown into a learning adventure for both Mom and daughter exploring art, color, and social media.
I’ve always found Elizabeth’s art fascinating, her love of color and chaos somehow comes together so beautifully and balanced. It has occurred to me many times that this a view of how the world “feels” to Elizabeth as communication can be difficult, but she has always expressed that doing art is a stress relief and that seeing and working with colors make her happy. And, well, what else does a mother want but her child to be happy.
After finishing school and art classes, I wanted to make sure that Art still was an important part of Elizabeth’s week and by creating an Instagram account we made deadlines for posts that forced both of us to sit down and talk about art, color and creative ideas. After seeing several posts, friends and family inquired how they could buy and display some of Elizabeth’s work and thus began the adventure of www.lizpiha.art.
About the Artist
"I want people to feel happy when they see my art. I like to draw every day and the feeling of busy when I'm doing my work. I don't like to think while doing my art but just like to see all the colors. I don't know why I choose what to draw. It is what I think should go in that space. It is just something I feel."
